Ms. Mathews has served both public and private universities in her role as a search consultant. She has conducted search assignments for all senior administrative positions and has worked across all functional areas.

Ms. Mathews has over 20 years of experience in higher education, having served as a senior administrator of senior management policy, compensation and benefits for the University of California. Having managed the recruitment and compensation processes on behalf of the President for the ten campuses, five medical centers and three national laboratories that comprise the University of California. Prior to her role as Director, Senior Management Policy, Compensation and Benefits, Ms. Mathews was the Director, Retirement Plan Administration for the UC System. Earlier in her career she provided oversight for the management recruitment, training and communications and also in the areas of payroll and benefits administration for Bank of America.
