Sharon Tanabe has over 23 years of search experience including more than 15 at Korn/Ferry International, where she led the Higher Education practice for the Los Angeles Office. Over the course of her search career, she has conducted more than 350 searches. During the past six years, Ms. Tanabe has managed search assignments in all academic and administrative areas including president/chancellor/CEO, provost, vice president, and dean for a variety of private and public universities and colleges, governmental agencies, nonprofit organizations, and foundations.
Before joining Korn/Ferry, Ms. Tanabe was a consultant with Hurd/Campbell, Inc., a physician recruitment company in Los Angeles, and previously served as a consultant in the military aerospace sector.
