Pharen Bowman-Crooks has held numerous roles serving both K-12 and higher education. Having focused specifically on access and persistence in education during her career, she is especially passionate about ensuring students are provided opportunity and support within higher education.
Prior to joining Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates, Pharen was an Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid Officer at Harvard University. She also served as Director of the Harvard Financial Aid Initiative, where she focused on recruiting low-income students to the College and providing support for matriculated financial aid recipients.
Previously, Pharen served as a Trainer with The Posse Foundation’s Boston office and as a College Adviser in two Charlotte, North Carolina high schools for the National College Advising Corps, a nonprofit organization committed to increasing the number of first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students who apply, enter, and complete higher education.
